Fastest way for a new board to cure?

Post by Gumby » Thu Jul 14, 2016 7:54 pm

In a board cover in a hot car?
Anything else?
In front of a heater?

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

It's a chemical reaction process, no way to accelerate it, and slower is stronger anyway

Wrap it in aluminium foil and gently "tickle" it with an oxy from a distance of about 15-20cm.

Do this for at least 12 minutes from an analogue watch, not a digital. Digital won't cure anything.

"tickle it" I quite like that expression. I think we've found Brian Westlake, who famously tickled Tiger's testicles.... haven't we THE BRIAN!!

To cure anything you need to firstly get a correct diagnosis, then it simply a matter of being diligent in applying the cream.

Fascinatingly, polyester resin, once catalysed, continues to “cure” until it degrades and collapses, while epoxy resin sets and forgets.

Yep....it continues to get stronger until it starts to disintegrate. That's one of the things with plastics. The "plastic"...I.e. Flexible bit is fugitive to varying degrees. It eventually leaves and the unit becomes brittle and disintegrates.

You don't think surfboards are made out of plastic?
