PS: Am getting Clive Chappell the ENT bloke who has worked out of DY for 30 years. Anyone know him?
I'm not sure about Clive but I think there's a guy out of MV hospital with good results (a lot of the Reef riders guys have had it done and say it was a good outcome).
I'm heading that way but trying to manage it. No infections thankfully but just annoying swishing sounds and probably affects my balance too.

I have had both my ears done and the guy I had was at Mona Vale. He went through the front and it was a much faster recovery.

I gotta get the dbl. Been putting it off. Have to get Private health before I turn 31 then spend a year on it I suppose.
What's it cost without insurance?

Nothing if you go public. Wait list could be very long though, depending upon categorisation and capacity. Categories in Vic are; 1 = urgent, 2 = semi & 3 = see you when we can. Capacity varies across hospitals and regions. Pretty sure the surgeons are all ENTs and they might set up to do similar types of surgery on the same day so you may get lucky even if Cat 3
