Triple X inform me they can't do it. Wetsuit side of business is closing down and they're in the process of seeling of the small amount of remaining stock. Get to it if you want a bargain

'boo, will have a look at all options including dive hoods

Truth is, we've had a couple of coldish days already and this arming myself with a 3/2 for winter idea has me wondering if I'm on the right path

Cranked's methodology makes some sense too. Don't think I've seen that combo in the surf since 1979

Diving mates rate the radiator and sharkskin hoods.

Why do you even own a wetsuit?

swvic, this place http://www.surf-store.com sells the ION 3/2 and 2/1 hooded vests as well as the NP 0.5mm one. None of them are smoothskin but the ION ones can apparently be worn outside your suit as they've got a jersey lining. it's a UK site but they will send worldwide

To tell the truth eggs are one thing I avoid buying when I’m grocery shopping. So you may say I’m an intermittent egg buyer who usually lets someone else buy them.

It's done by age swiv. They reckon 48 is when you start moaning about the cold. Sounds about right. (It might be worth checking that the 2/1 is actually neoprene - it doesn't really say anything about it on any of the sites)

Have asked the 2/1 neoprene question - thanks for imparting your wariness. Will post the answer

As for sizing, they say if you're between sizes go up. XL then

They can be a bit restrictive

Which site Legion? O/S or in Aus?
