He's busy on my board currently! I haven't hassled him too much ...well not at least for the last hour

Looks like a wakeboard, and i mean that in a good way.
Try some lower profile fins in it. I've got something a bit similar 5'6x20.5" and it is amazing how much you can jam the turns.

Strong enough to be used as a wakeboard or kiteboard I reckon with a layer of innegra on the deck skin. May even do it too! I'm a big boy 90kg and 184cm I need large fins or I don't get the drive I want and get too much drift when I push hard. For small waves I can go down to mediums like K2s but once it is over 3' unless the rails are really sharp my board won't hold its line.

Yes probably. I sneak out there in the mornings from time to time. I did this morning anyway!

I found in the meantime that I like it better as a thruster.

Good to see JD get a run in the current issue of "White Horses"

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Does anyone know if Josh has gone down the bonzer path?
I've seen pics of his channel bottoms so I should imagine shaping some crazy bonzer contours would not be out of the question.

I'd love a JD bonzer as well. I think the depth of the concaves might be an issue, as it would thin out the layer of high density foam on the bottom. I'm sure Josh would find a way around it though.

A mini mal with a quad set up? Seems a bit odd to me.

It is hard to get wood to do big concaves but the rohacell (?) high density foam stuff josh uses would be fine I think. Though Huie said something about not liking really thin cores in compsand construction when I wanted to go to 2" on an eps core.

One surf in baby food mate, but it's quite refined for a midlength, much more than Im used to. 7'4" x 14 3/4"n x 21" x 14 1/2"t x 2 1/2". First impressions are it needs a bit of push I think, very happy with it so far. Hopefully when the kids are back in school this week I'll get lots of water time on it. Hopefully tomorrow when everyone's sleeping off the hangover too haha

Down the track I'm hoping to take this to the Maldives
