Dunno mate.

Google states that the images are updated every year or so.

Maybe the snap was taken just after the 94' tsunami?

Ah, one of those non-secret secret spot things-check the co-ordiantes on teh bottom left of the picture and work it out for us.

Hi loco4olas, bit of deja vu with that image, back in 74 - 75 tracks had a photo in it taken by someone flying over one of the islands in the Philippines of a left hander that looked like it broke for about 6 miles.

You got to wonder how many images NASA have taken over the years of the planet and with what was shown after 911 the clarity of the shots would give a good indication of just how many spots there are around the globe that are surf-able.

I'm just playing around-of course this is far from a secret spot-and anyone with any knowledge of surf history would know who Mike Boyum was and what he found.

Ummmm,

Not sure what you're getting at? All I was doing was posting an overhead shot of ******* from the google earth site-and segueing into the ******'s discovery by Mike, from an aeroplane-at approxiamtely the altitude of the shot from google earth.

That's what you wrote and my reply was addressed to that comment. You can play smart arse all you want Matt, but don't go saying that you are not sure what I am getting at when it is clear that I am responding to your post in a transparent manner. Type "Mike Boyun" into Google rather than have an intimate knowledge of the origins of G Land. Ya dick.
