Hi loco4olas, bit of deja vu with that image, back in 74 - 75 tracks had a photo in it taken by someone flying over one of the islands in the Philippines of a left hander that looked like it broke for about 6 miles.
You got to wonder how many images NASA have taken over the years of the planet and with what was shown after 911 the clarity of the shots would give a good indication of just how many spots there are around the globe that are surf-able.
The three links below are large stat images from NASA's library.
Easter Island (Rapa Nui)

Hanauma Bay, Oahu, Hawaii

Cabarete Bay, Dominican Republic

The tip of easter island is showing some promise.
This link is for Astronaut Photography with a map of the world and just pick a spot.

Ummmm, filthbarrel wrote:Do you need knowledge of surf history or access to google? You need to make the clues more cryptic old son
Not sure what you're getting at? All I was doing was posting an overhead shot of ******* from the google earth site-and segueing into the ******'s discovery by Mike, from an aeroplane-at approxiamtely the altitude of the shot from google earth.

"I'm just playing around-of course this is far from a secret spot-and anyone with any knowledge of surf history would know who Mike Boyum was and what he found. . . . Matt"
That's what you wrote and my reply was addressed to that comment. You can play smart arse all you want Matt, but don't go saying that you are not sure what I am getting at when it is clear that I am responding to your post in a transparent manner. Type "Mike Boyun" into Google rather than have an intimate knowledge of the origins of G Land. Ya dick.

Sorry . . . I am getting far too serious . . .
Larry put me up to it. It's his fault. He told me ya had a thing for me missus.
Matt . . . Mate . . . you post a thread claiming "knowledge of surf history" and I claim it is not a "knowledge" but an ability to use a search engine . . .
if ya wanta play surf history questions look at the thread regarding
"Who are these Hodads?" . . . that is history not an ability to use a search engine.
