Re: Midlengths
That looks great, nice foam around the chest but not too big in the nose.
Re: Midlengths
there's 3 of those GSI blackhawks going on gumtree for $420 each, all in near showroom condition, located cronulla, all from the same dude.

Re: Midlengths
Pretty sure that's "Surfanimals" (forum handle) selling them.
If so they'll have been "test" ridden and then moved on.

Will do after I've had a few surfs on it.Davros wrote:Looks sick Jet ride review please
I picked it up this arvo, but unfortunatley Patto didn't have any of the fins in stock which he wanted to use so I took the 9" fin out of my 6'1 just so I could get the board wet.
It was blowing about 20kts out of the NE at Wanda this arvo with kite surfers and clubbies everywhere. I had about 40mins so only got a few waves.
Looking forward to the next time the point gets a wave.

Re: Midlengths
Will take better ones before the next session.
(No affiliation) If you're on a budget, the sideways board bag the board is in is very good value. Well padded. Plastic zips so nothing to rust.
Excellent company to deal with.
I'll have a whinge in the next 12 month if it shits itself and will probably come out with every cliche available.
I can see this board and bag getting some use over the next few months that's for sure.

Yeh an NPJr. Have good times on this.
Re: Midlengths
I've just bought this:
See http://surfboardagency.com/tsa-crow/
Its 8' x 21.5" x 3", 56l, slight V in the nose, slight single concave into slight double in a slight v, into a single concave in the last 8".
Middle third is pretty flattish, and lift in the nose is only moderate, good lift in the tail.
Before I bought it my current biggest board was a 6'8 nugget. What I wanted was a board that planed easily so I could bag a few waves in gutless surfs around Perth and/or when the mals were out in force, plus be able to handle non-heavy overhead waves in Bali and other places in Nusa Tengara.
Had it out a few times and it satisfies the first criteria, it'll be a while before I find out how it goes in bigger waves, but it has a pretty severe pin-tail and adequate tail lift. The pics do not show this well, I think they may be of the 7' rather than the 8'.
This was the board I was going to buy, but was waylaid by the Zot and made a sudden impulse buy. Decide in hast and repent at leisure.
