Re: Where did you surf today ?
had a good surf in clean waves at bronte this morning for a couple of hours. i also met another kneelo out there!
but it all ended badly --- 8cm fin chop through the rail on my favourite board. it was my fault. i was sitting in a little to catch a small one back in. a bigger wave came and three people went for it, all getting to their feet and leaving me nowhere to go. i rolled my board over and went under it. lucky my head didn't take the fin.
it's too big for me to repair properly and i have no money at the moment, not expecting any for a few months.

it's fixable...but will require a better hand than mine to repair. the MORE will ride the wild waves again, once i chase up $120 or so for the ding doctor.pridmore wrote:that sux mate...not fixable hey ???

Skip is fixing dings. He'll be cheaper than the cnuting ding doctor and provide more fulfilling conversation on drop off/pick up too..purple pyramids wrote:it's fixable...but will require a better hand than mine to repair. the MORE will ride the wild waves again, once i chase up $120 or so for the ding doctor.pridmore wrote:that sux mate...not fixable hey ???

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

That's the surf I waited weeks for today.
Glassy, 3 foot with occasional 4 footer.
Stayed out 3 hours, a marathon for me but you don't come in when it's bowling like that.

Re: Where did you surf today ?
I went to Collaroy today for my first paddle ever (well, except for once 10 years ago). Didn't catch any waves or stand up, but had fun anyway.

yep. Those Cook Strait re-intensifications tend to favour Sydney/Cenny Coast/The Gong.
we'll get the attenuated signal.
these near misses and outright hoaxes are doing my nut in.
more gurgly, not quite there pointbreak today being molested by the hordes.
