Going to visit a mate in Lismore.
Going to make a few stops along the way, making an effort to dodge my usual northern haunts (well at least on the way up anyway).
Got these places in mind.
Crowdy Head
Scotts Head
Minnie Water
Angourie (Stop in an check out Pridmore's shop and get a new t-shirt)
I'm going to be sleeping in my car most of the way, so if anyone knows of some good places to camp overnight that would be great.
I'll probably do some fishing, drink some schooners, and have an end or two at a bowlo along the way.
Open invite. The more the merrier (Sh#t MP didn't copyright that did he )
Look forward to any info you'd like to part with.
PM's welcomed.

No surf in Lismore!
Seriously though, it is a great trip. Take your time and, YES go via Foster etc. If there is a Nor'Easter blowing spend time at Trechery (Seal Rocks). Great 'offshore' beachies and camp grounds at Trech and futher along the same road at Yagen.
Lauieton and up the coast from there is good too.
Plenty of spots to pull off the track and camp.
Yamba / Ang is great too.
Almost worth finding a copy of Mark Warrens Surf Atlas, it has guided me to plenty of good waves along that trip.
enjoy.

Cheers boys.
When i mentioned my usual haunts i should've pointed out that my main northern haunt is the Seal Rocks area. I've absolutely fallen in love with the place, and don't even get me started on Pacific Palms Bowlo
Timings are still to be confirmed, but i'll keep ya all in the loop.
Cheers

It really is paradise around there...
Pics like that aren't helping me venture into unchartered territory.
