Im 5'9 and 71kgs, I ride a 5'8 fat-bat, and normal shortie 6'1 181/4 2 1/4. similar to you carpark king. I would def recommend you go the 18 1/4.
I recently got a MORE 6'0 1/2 18 1/2 2 1/4 quad and it goes great.
also me step-up board is a MORE 6'4, 18 1/4 2 1/4, and in the right waves its the best board ive ridden

Re: What board size are you?
im 36, surfing 22yrs, 5'9 78-80kg...depending on whos scales im standin on...
been riding 6'3 x 18 1/8 x 2 1/8 for 15yrs, with only rocker & concave adjustments. was 70kg when started on those dims, so flotation and age induced fitness decline has led to paddling issues...
had a good chat to me shaper and got a 6'2 x 18 3/4 x 2 5/16 which i only started surfin on last week...and it is shapin up to be one of those magic boards...

Re: What board size are you?
Im 42, weigh about 13 stone, I think thats 84 kg, dont really know or care, height 6 foot.
surfing 28 years with a break of 2 and a half years when I lived inland.
Sometimes I surf like I got a broom stick stuck up my arse due to a major back operation when I was 24, cracked my L3, L4, L5 disks and they are naturally fusing, I hate it when the weather changes cause I feel it in my back.
I ride a 6 4 semi fish 21 wide, I have a 6 10 for big surf but dont use that no more now that I live on the sunshine coast and aint seen a cyclone swell yet am dreaming and saving for another board, want a channel bottom board for when it gets hollow as the fish can get a bit sketchy in hollow sucky surf, but hey thats another story.

Re: What board size are you?
40 years old, weigh 48kg and am 5'2" tall. Taller than all of you, midgets.
Maybe 3 years of actual surfing interrupted by lots of other diversions.
6'4" 20" 2.75" McCoy nugget (now pinched by my husband)
6'3" 20 5/8" 2.5" MORE Fatbat diamond tail. Very new and still getting used to it.

Re: What board size are you?
Can see you riding a mal Toes.dinosaur wrote:about 38 yrs old
about 6'4"
about 90 kilos
surfing nearly 30 years
current boards are 6' 6" 19 7/16 2 1/2 rounded square thruster
A 6'2" 20 1/4 2 3/4 swallow tail quad.
A 7'0 which i haven't ridden in ages, since i stepped up to 6'6" from 6'4 for everyday boards
Have a bunch of other boards that are spares i guess but i don't really ride, might start selling em actually.
I borrow a mal occasionally off a mate who shapes em . Will probably buy a second hand one off him soon. It'll probably be 9'4" or 9'6" and about 3 inches depending on the materials. Rode an epoxy fiberflex one the other week that was under three but very buoyant. Then again as the swell comes back i might forget about that till next summer.
BB;
6'3"
88kgs
nearly 46
6'6" MR Twin 18 3/4 , 2 3/8
7'0" Phil Byrne Gun for Indo etc 18 1/2 , 2 1/2
7'6" Bushman 18 3/8 , 2 5/8 for Hawaii or massive Nth Bondi (although the need to be fit enough to ride the proper waves for such a board is getting harder and harder).

Re: What board size are you?
5"10". 75 kilos.
30 years of surfing.
3 shortboards for daily use which is mainly pointbreaks.
5'10 by 19 1/2 by 2 1/2 Michael Cundith. It's basically a seventies single fin outline(roundtail). with thruster set-up and modern bottom contours.
6'2" by 20 by 2/12 by Chris Brock. Roundtail Performance egg kind of thing. Tri-plane hull and plenty of edge on the rail. You can paddle into anything on this board. Fun in 1-6 foot surf.
7'1" by 20 by 2 3/8 diamond tail by Dain Thomas of Sea surfboards. Not a mini-mal. An Evolution era pointbreak machine thats fun as hell to ride in slopey 2-4 ft pointbreaks.
Better wave boards.
6'5" by 18 1/2 by 2 3/8 Mitchell Rae flextail, swallowtail. Indo shortboard or for when the beachies get clean and hollow round here.
6'9" by 19 by 2 1/2 rounded pin by Banksy. Lot of concave, lot of rocker. Loves a tube. Loves Gnarloo.
7'0" by 19 by 2 1/2 bonzer 5 pintail by Malcolm Campbell. Fires up in clean 6ft+ Lennox Point or second board quiver for G-land/Indo.
Speed machine.
8'0" by 19 by 2 5/8 McCoy single-fin pintail semi-gun. Loves it over 8ft. Surprisingly loose if you move the fin in the box. Awesome paddler.
9'0" Brewer Sunset Gun shaped by Owl. Take it with wherever I go. Bit small for Hawaiian outer reefs, but loves WA. Makes 8-10 ft Lennox Point with 20 knots of south wind on it a blast.
Boards for town(Byron).
9'1" performance mal by Brett Munro.
9"5" old school mal by Chris Brock.

Well fcuk me if there's aren't a lot of shortarses on here (Actually, I reckon you've got an advantage over me so I should shut up)
6'4'', 98kgs or so (me, not the board)
34 (nearly 35 )
9'3'' jackson longboard (12yrs old but the boss won't let me upgrade!)
7'6'' Jackson hybrid
Also used to be a booger until abt age 20 when I started seeing my mates' younger brothers out there and felt a little uncomfortable (plus up for a new challenge)
