Central America - tips & info pls

Post by equipaje » Wed Jan 09, 2008 11:15 am

Hey all,

Heading to Central America with 3 mates in March for 5 months.
Our rough plan is to fly into San Jose (CR) and head across to Bocas Del Toro to catch the end of their season for a few weeks on the Carribean side. We've also been told this is a good/safe place to start off with for our travels...
Apart from that - we have no set plans apart from working our way up north hunting waves to eventually arrive in Mexico in July.

We are all travelling with 2 boards and have done a quick spanish course last month to get the basics.

Has anyone been to these parts ? Any tips or stories of your experiences would be great.

Pretty pumped !
