Where did you surf today ?

Pleasure Point is where I surf3d when I was over there. So many breaks along that stretch. Capitola is interesting with all the old holiday apartments and stuff. Stayed in Santa Cruz on the way down and back up the coast.
Got as far as Santa Barbara. Had a walk on the beach at Rincon but it was flat.

Quite good conditions this morning on the high tide. Crowded and a lot of hard work paddling around to grab a wave. Snared a couple of zippy little rights on one of the lesser banks.

I hunted around the local stretch and it was hit and miss.
One place working with some bodies on it.
Went the substandard uncrowded option and today it backfired.
It was terrible.

How good were the conditions ... fucking amazing. I just walked down the road and had a very pleasant 2 hour paddle.

Wasn’t hitting the banks well except the main spot and cleaned up a bit more as I was leaving.

It was far from epic out front, a wee bit fat as the incoming tide drowned it, but glorious nonetheless.

Surfed Chuns this morning, most other places on the north shore weren't working. Sunset actually looked fun but I didn't get there until just before my work started.
