Yeah me too.

Looks like late season this year has been/is way, way more active than early and even peak season.

Have to be insanely lucky this time of year, but it's possible.

I'll be deliriously happy just to spend a week in the jungle surfing lefts, of any description.

There’s a bloke on insta with 245k followers.
I always thought he was a parody site but apparently he’s serious and all the people in his comments are serious.
He does like surf fitness and conditioning and pop ups but it is pretty surreal.
I get a laugh out of almost all his posts.
I mean, c’mon?

Seems pretty simple advice.

but I can already do that.

I'm going to add intensity to surf sessions and more of them over the next couple of weeks.

And then manage energy for long sessions when there.

Bondi is the epicentre of adult learners spending 15 minutes stretching on the beach before paddling out into dredging closeouts and getting flogged. Seriously useless.

Don’t be so hard on yourself beans. Keep trying and I’m sure one day you’ll get to your feet!

Fcuk this has been one of my longest runs without surfing lately. Only four days last week. Paddled out at Bronte in desperation yesterday and just floated around. Not many stray waves with 15 guys sitting deep on the reef and a crew on the inside.

High point was finding the key for a LandRover in the sand near the waterline. Put it up on the steps. Those things must cost $900.

Laying off the bintangs helps immensely I reckon.

15 bintangs a day? Jeez.

Even if you don't wake up hungover, it really fucks up muscle recovery etc...

I normally rely on residual fitness mate.

Anyway, I'll keep up the surfing, goblet squats, deadlifts, chins, swissball push-ups and mile runs until I go.

Feeling pretty fit right now- would love a crack at some 6-8ft G-land.

Surely they’re the Bintang kecils?
If I have a big day surfing in indo.
1-2 Bintang besar to wash off the day is perfect.

Bronte was solid today. Too much for me. 30+ out on the reef and cleanup sets. Joey Johns got a few. He’s really got stumpy legs.
Saw him jump off at the pool then this guy with a very new looking Lopez quad gun shape gingery tried to launch off and completely mistimed it. Went arse over down the rocks and had to scramble for his board which looked to have got dinged. Very lucky a set wasn’t coming through.
