sounds like a 5/10 Boo?
Maybe a 6.
I think with a better size it'd be a 7.

Noice! There’s a reef down Kiama way that does a good Claytons Angourie, just shorter and sharper, more compacted

I’ll be down at the Gong until Friday. I’ve never stayed in the city before.

Busy in the morning, but a competent organised crowd.
You could rack up a wave count.
Very uncrowded in the arvo with a light onshore on it.

Lower East cafe for the best breaky, chefs choice for some decent Chinese - get the crispy eggplant. Lots of good breweries too. Send me a message, we may well be able to get a beer!

I remember some wheelchair xylophonist getting all macho about how he liked to smash absolutely heaps of Weetbix before a hard day's roofing

You know those parts pretty well. But, scooted up to Coledale and that area a few times. The pub at Scarborough is pretty cool.

Best protein hit on the gong is kotez chicken bellambi. Fried chicken a $1 a piece. I’ll normally monster five or seven pieces before a surf

Yeah I’ve spent 95% of the time I’ve had down there North of Bulli. Looking forward to a different experience and surfing some different waves. And having beers with Wyre!

Too disturbingly evocative of a feminine hygiene product. Pass.

Love pre-Christmas time when there’s a million catch ups on and the days are long.

Hope this current heavy swell doesn’t chew up all the little banks that were starting to form at Bondi. It was just starting to look promising with four to five okay little set ups. Heaps of sand just got chewed out of Bronte in the last couple of days too.

I can't remember the last time I surfed a sand break.
I guess about 40 years ago when I was living near Cronulla.

I’m not actually much of a fan of dredging shallow reefs and rock slabs having spent most of my formative years riding groomed sand bottom point breaks.
