Re: Watch recommendations
Having a watch that gets emails and phone calls while I’m surfing sounds like the opposite of why I go surfing.

What do you want her to watch?
Never mind.
Don't answer that.

You aren’t the room Yuke You are just a wonky cafe table with a missing rubber pad on the end of one leg.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

I recommend retiring and getting rid of the things altogether.

You know it does! Yes it would be nice to be able to disappear for a couple of hours and not be reachable. Remember we’ve always got the option to respond or not. For me some of the very best windows when there’s swell and less crowds is mid week during the day. If I’m on top of things i can surf knowing that all hell isn’t breaking loose at work. It actually gives me peace of mind.
Plus I can watch my waves when I get home!

As I mentioned earlier, I don't turn the surfing function on, but did for a few surfs when I first purchased the watch. One of the earliest top speeds was 21kph, followed by a string of mid teens, then one morning I hit 26kph ... I seem to remember Mick Fanning getting speeds in the 30's.

Re: Watch recommendations
I presume you were the goofy spec going left rather than the natural spec catching the longer right. Not a bad cutback at a cracking 13 kph.
