Just read letters of objection from community groups that the WSL has supposedly got support from.

this is a fukn sham of the highest order.
I thought I read somewhere they had been consulting with the Le-Ba club?
sham consulting.

they spoke to Le-Ba who said lets look at the proposal and we'll make a decision next week.

they then took that and said they had Le-Ba's assent.

it's a real eye opener to see how they are going about it.

Lot more smart, organised people than you could probably fathom in that tiny mind of yours Thud.

still, my understanding is a backroom decision has already been made at State Level so the curtain has been pulled back on the charade but it's very far down the track.

It does seem weird to me.

The Tour is literally teetering on a knife edge and backroom deals are being cut to keep it alive while a determined community opposition flares up. Mainstream media all over it.

almost unprecedented.

and it's crickets in the surf media.

Yes, pretty quiet.
Though this is the current most read article on the Tracks website.

It’s still not certain it’s on, is it. Or what is going on? The rumoured Easter time slot makes it sound like it’s a backup if Bells doesn’t happen

Can’t be that smart or connected if they weren’t plugged into any decision making process. Even a tiny mind can work that out, Steve.

In any event, you are always bleating about this type of intrusion like a sheep in a slaughter house conga-line. What’s the plan?

Yeah , one tiny article on Tracks.

Stab silent, Swellnet silent, CW silent.

there's a ton of content out there now.

it would seem newsworthy to me.

seems a strange taboo around it.

fcuk there is some epic scrambling going on right now between the various surfing governing bodies.

it's hilarious.

It's incompetence that couldn't be dreamed of.

I was amused to hear from a few of the crew that "a man from WSL" started calling people late last week, asking them what they thought about a contest

"A man from WSL"! It's like the cold war
