fcuk it was frustrating this arvo.

with good banks and offshore winds it would have been spectacular as the swell went more SSE today.

instead it just smeared out across the back like a toddler with a plate of over-ripe banana.

and a really nasty gurgle running through it.

Worked all day, had a look 7.30 tonight. Swell lines looked great.

Ditto around the Eastern Suburbs. Promising potential for better banks after this swell event though. They can't get much worse than the last few months. Pretty much the worst banks I can remember.

Mate of mine was rocking off the slope rock at Nationals a couple of years ago.
Brand new, unridden Farrelly Tracker under his arm.
Got absolutely hammered.

I got absolutely fccckn rolled on a rock shelf once, looked a good spot, long lull on a big day and then this thing detonates on me and drags me over a load of barnacles, board dinged up, cuts and scratches everywhere. Didnt even get out for a surf. Physically painful and embarrassing as fccck. Any cnut who has never been fccked up on a rock off is obviously playing it way too safe.

My last screw up rocking off was jumping off at McKenzies last year and getting washed back onto the rock shelf snapping my favourite fins on my fish.
Oh yeah, I also got a big bruise before Xmas jumping off at Crescent and having the fin get me in the thigh.
