Good surf this morning, sunny, offshore, regular head high sets, only four out for nearly two hours, warmish water - then the crowds arrived, but I'd had plenty of waves by then.

fuschia yes.

total shiteshow here.
I know about 5 families going to lennox/byron for the holidays.
I wouldn't be inviting them around when they get back - I drove through town out to Sunrise at 11am this morning and saw three vic plates with luggage inside and boards on the roof sitting in the traffic jam going in to town - they'll go in and rub up against all the Queenslanders in Woolies and send any germs further north when the canetoads go home.

Brace yourself Trev

Woeful surf at Boomerang on Friday. Onshore goof around yesterday arvo. Two hours of clean low tide peelers this morning. Just about to go down for another look :-D-:

After another surf yesterday I finished with an early morning session today before returning to the big smoke. Classic winter conditions with a small N East swell lining up on excellent sand banks.

That's not a great place to go missing on a big swell.

Whitewash from DY point to Longy. Water going up the path past the swimming club with chunks of concrete in it.

Yeah, my new 'step up' 6'5" was wayyyy too small for the point. Not as big as up NC's way, but plenty of wash throughs and sets on the head. Didn't get a wave!

Lovely stuff at my local this morning. Clean, long lines, head high and a bit.
Not too crowded.

Saw Coogee today. Practically Bear sized with a couple out. Saw a guy pull into an overhead left peak and got a bit of distance before shutting down heavily. Looked like The Wedge.
