I had a very pleasant surf yesterday. Infrequent and gutless knee to chest high. Happy crowd of about a dozen, all ages and nearly all riding mals.

Great vibe. Sunny and offshore.

I somehow managed to get a lot of waves on my 6'10. An 8" fin and a pathetic shuffle to the nose was needed to keep it planing though.

Remember though, Bitcoin is an online gambling game, silver was $5/ounce in 2002 and is only $15 now, so it looks like freeze dried chutney and ammo are where the astute investor should go.

I've had a lot of surfs since I last reported in but this morning was weird, the swell had backed down and I went out Sunset Pt for a play. There was occasional 4-5' sets. The wind started out reverse of trades, then swung dead offshore SE, a very rare wind on the north shore. Everything looked like Tahiti. It was amazing. The trades kicked after a while. I got a lot of waves and surfed for hours, poor ol Apple Watch reckoned I covered 13.5 ks.

Waiting for the tide to drop a bit more for the point. Would have been good up the beach this morning with a different wind.

Scrub that. Totally blown out after lugging the mal down and paddling out. Fingers crossed for something tomorrow.

Avoca. Good. 3ft. Fast fun waves with a bit of a hollow quick take off but some faces and chasers.

Had new Reactor rear quads in my Fred Rubble. Amazing difference. Board felt really whippy. Very happy with the purchase.
