Oh, it’s not me and it’s not my photo so I can’t really help you I’m afraid. If you ask me though, he needed to be on a minimal so he could poostance right out ahead of those sections
There’s an embarrassment of swell as per but the wind is sw at the moment. So those slabs aren’t working but others are. Why do you ask? Are you planning a visit? Don’t worry, I’ll be able to find you a junky beach break so you shouldn’t feel too out of your depth

I still pay the Ibu, though the signs are gone and I'm the only one who does pay.marauding mullet wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 4:12 pmHow’s your parking going Cranked? Do you still pay the old Ibu at Impossibles when she’s there? Or just buy a drink?
I really need to come back over there I think.

I know it isn't the thread but this does beg the question as GSTQ puts it:
If you're a poor Boomer, or a Boomer living in a non Western nation, are you really a Boomer?

Like imagine all the grandparents in the US rust belts and bad inner city bits getting by on Social Security and bringing up their grandchildren right now because drugs or crime got their own children, are they Boomers?

Ooh, hardship Top Trumps! Struggling against life’s headwinds with failing health, little money and less hope or googling conspiracy theories in your childhood bedroom o’erwatched by curling Dawson’s Creek posters and putting your crusty wanksock out for your mum once a fortnight? It’s a tough one alright
Re: Where did you surf today ?
I didn’t think it was a pic of you. There’s no way you’d embarrass yourself like that. But couldn’t you have at least found a pic of someone looking remotely competent? Or is that the general standard over there?

How useful is birthdate to define a group anyway? For instance, a university degree or not is a much better indicator of financial success:Nick Carroll wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 4:30 amLike imagine all the grandparents in the US rust belts and bad inner city bits getting by on Social Security and bringing up their grandchildren right now because drugs or crime got their own children, are they Boomers?
”Pew has shown that millennials with bachelor’s degrees are actually doing quite well financially – to the tune of over US$100,000 household incomes. This number is just below Gen X and above late boomers with a similar education.
Meanwhile, households led by millennials with a high school education are making less than $50,000. So income inequality based on education differences continues to be a major problem, just as it was with previous generations"
And another one:
'While it is true that millennials are much more likely than other generations to live with their parents, 90% of those with a college degree do not."

Since I've been a kid its pretty well always been get a degree, or a trade, or you're fcuked.
But the perception now is you're fcuked anyway, but those results show that is not correct (for a degree anyway).

Re: Where did you surf today ?
Fcuk! I went down to Sunset after the contest finished, the swell jumped 4' in half an hour and it was going mental, closing out the channel, bombing third reef. I paddled out on an 8'0" AB and stalked the second reef from the side, totally undergunned, really you needed a 10'0". It was a solid 12-15' plus, v clean but you had to be soooo careful not to get caught. I got a pretty solid one and rode down it, the 8'0" fully engaging the channels, looked for markers to see where I was in relation to the inside and realised it was one of the ones that were closing out the whole channel to Kammieland. So epic! I faded off the back, went back out, stalked it again and got a nice 12'+ west peak roll-in. This one came back in on the reef and I thought, yeah, she's gonna stand up through that epic gulping inside barrel section, but instead it just went Fcuk You and lurched sideways and shut down. I had to straighten out and got a fantastic flogging, came up and I was in the washing machine inside that piece of reef and outside Val's Reef. So I thought, OK I'll go in now.
Basically Sunset kicked me out!
Perfect conditions but. Baby's bottom surface outside.
