nice board, looks like fun.....

although i've never understood the 'two panel' wax job..especially on a board that need a bit of footwork.....

for the 'poo man' stance is it???

I wanna see pics of your other boards. A smaller wax area than that? I reckon you could square the front patch off a bit more & maybe take a bit off the right hand side on the back one Rainman...

EIGHT HUNDRED FRICKEN DOLLARS for a 1976 style single fin shortboard?...

f**k me dead. I clearly recall throwing these boards aside in 1981 in Utter Delight at the arrival of three fins. And now you pay more for one than you pay for a 2007 Simon Anderson custom-cut round pin single concave thruster.

salty you are a gift and an education to me.

Ben sure has shown himself to be an excellent businessman. He is the only place selling "alternative" boards on the beachfront and if there was ever a place that liked "alternative" anything then its Bondi.

More power to him I say but how many thruster bred alternaters can handle the equipment?

Sounds a bit like Heritage Surf in Manly. Got some real nice stuff (everything from books/DVDs to clothing to all sorts of retro boards) in there, but the prices are ridiculous, especially on the boards. Definitely geared towards the cashed-up weekend warrior which is exactly what the Manly demographic is these days. Remember when you could find these boards for next to nothing at garage sales & the like, not to mention on garbage dumps & gathering dust in the back of your garage? Shame my crystal ball wasn't working back then.

Is this retro revival thing mainly happening in sydney?

Must by this years 'it' thing in the city of fashion.
