He does like it. From memory, he added about 10 litres to his normal volume which might compromise its top end a bit. Or not

The best small wave/grovel board i've ever owned and still sits in the quiver today is a 5'0 mini sim quad. It is super flat rockered, crazy wide tail, but will destroy knee high waves if there is a wall. Anything above chest high and it slips and slides like you're on rollerskates.

That lost board was woeful.

yes - worst board i've had in years. Firstly, finding fins that worked was a huge issues. The tech was crap. The board just couldn't make sections and felt really dead under foot.
I bought a cheapie second hand on gumtree and it was a stack of fun, one of the best small waves boards I have ever had. Just used my fcs perfomer quads. easy made sections, surfed way smaller then its fat wide size.... great fun.
