Quad? Does he make them?
That's near blasphemy Davros, wash your mouth out with soap, immediately.
According to Geoff, quads are for learner kooks who lack the ability and expertise to surf the Gullwing singles

GM didn't learn to ride a thruster, how do you expect him to get involved with Quads

Gee, sometimes reading this about McCoys I start to think....hhhhhmmmmm maybe I should try one. Then I go.....nah they still don't look any good and I have never ever seen anyone surf one well. Either live or video footage.

See if you can find that Cheyne stuff the day he rode 15-20ft Waimea on a 5/8 LazerZAP!

Have a look at what Ian Cairns says about McCoy and his influence on Horan.

Why would ya take notice of that twit.He could stand on a surfboard quite well.Couldnt shape for shit.He gave Australians a BAD name in Hawaii that resonated around the world.Rides a Mal in Cali, so went from a high end surfer to a kook.
Many people have opinions, we don't have to take notice of any.

I feel like I have gone back in time to 2008 where every thread turned into a mccoy train wreck! There was a thread on swaylocks where cheyne Horan used to post and answer questions. It was pretty cool.
A few years ago I ordered an alround nugget and had a good yarn to GM. I am 5'10 & 72kg, he put me on a 6'6. The length wasn't a drama, I caught lots of waves but the frickin thing was 3" thick! In the steepest, fastest sections I could do a turn but generally I struggled. Also, you can't shuffle forward, you must plant your weight over the fin/fins.
Anyways it was a frustrating experience, I talked to GM about it and he said that I needed more volume!!!!!!
I sold it on & decided not to revisit the mccoy experience, there are so many good options available where you can catch plenty of waves & do a turn!!!

Lol, crossbreed got me keen too haha. I do have a 9'2" I don't use and now I've bought
my wife a minimal I could probably sell my rehab 7'er and just might scrape up enough. Though I'm guessing one of his middies with colour etc wouldn't be cheap. Ah well, if I'm short I'll grab a McNeill off boardcave lol
