My beloved carver has suddenly developed little blisters in the paint on one side. Some can be scratched off but larger ones leave a spot. Fcuked if I know what happened to it. It's like it's got the pox.
Worked out its from the WD40 I sprayed on the zipper cause it was sticking. That was a couple of months ago. The question is will it keep eating the paint awayZ.

I'll call my waterskate the Milf. Mutton dressed as lamb.

And you're right Davros. It is just a board.

I've been riding my 7'10 Takayama egg a fair bit the last week - actually just cycling thru it, my astron zot quad and a 6'6 fish - session by session.

The length and width make it easy to paddle in, the thruster setup (with finbox) with hull-like rolled V and low volume rounded rails, mean it pretty manouvreable for a board that size, although a bit slow.

So far only one head and half wave, but it was great fun. I'm thinking it'll be cruising nicely in double overhead, with enough agility to find the sweet spot and to get out of trouble when the need arises.

Super and surprisingly manouvreable in the small stuff for a board that size.

And it's a surftech.

What more could you ask for?

No way Davros.

I rode the 6'6 fish yesterday and the McCoy today. Reasonable waves for a change and just five of us out early. Rob Machado and a few others brought it up to ten in the second hour and by the third hour there were thirty punters and it was time to go in

He's really laid back, doesn't hassle at all, friendly and talks to people. If you had to surf with a pro Machado would be the one I reckon

Godsave reckons he surfs too laterally and watching him makes his teeth itch.

I would have thought that was just welsh dentistry and it's unfair to blame Rob.

I loved him in momentum (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IF0kuWZLoOo), steve. Of course he still rips, but it's like he's been overtaken by his affectations

(I'll not dignify the dentistry quip with an answer other than to point out that my check-up in August will doubtless confirm 44 filling-free years)

Yes see, Steve.

Drifta sessions. Terrible movies but great surfing.

Have a look, Steve.
