Re: Midlengths
Good info. I’ve had the opposite. I had a 7’2 I love remodelled down to 6’4 (shaper had done stacks of times) Blah...sold it on within a month.
Re: Midlengths
Which one you gonna buy?
Re: Midlengths
None. I’m soon going to get my finger out and sell some boards and go see mike psillakis about a step-up middie. Want it to be fun in smaller conditions, but shine in the double overhead range. Something that’s going to carve hard at speed, knife late drops, and turn well tight in the pocket. Might speak to him about his wide point forward model, as a 2+1.

Re: Midlengths
McT Sherpa is nice. But for the upper size range the Bing Maui Foil and Raven look like they’d handle better.

Hey nice one mate!! Got itCuttlefish wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2019 4:05 pmI know where there' 2 x 6'10" Sea gypsies that have only been ridden 2 or 3 times. One is a 2+1 and the other a thruster. Both in stock 6'10" dims I believe.
Look on gumtree. They are both at Alexandra headland Beachbeat surfshop.

Re: Midlengths
You bought that?
Looks nice. A good leave-in-the-car board?

Re: Midlengths
Yeah bought it, looks nice huh. At that price will be able to sell on and not lose any money if it's not right but I think it will go pretty good for what I want.

Re: Midlengths
Good stuff. It looks like a very dependable shape (I felt it up in the shop but already have a couple that fit in that slot) that should cover a broad wave spectrum and size range. Let us know how you like it.

You aren’t the room Yuke You are just a wonky cafe table with a missing rubber pad on the end of one leg.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Re: Midlengths
My two cents regarding mid lengths.
Have had a 7’2 Vouch evo in the garage for the last 4 years or so riding it on occasions but never really gelling with it mainly because I’ve been used to concaves on 6’0’s and like performance fishy shapes ( of which are still fun), and not rolled bottoms. I’ve been riding it consistently over the last six months and it has re invigorated my surfing. Mainly through not over powering the board. It definitely makes you read a wave differently and smooths out the style. Also not having to compete with ultra light zippy groms and the like.
The retro shapes are also kind of refreshing to the same old thruster shapes you see around and kind of add to the motivation to keep jumping on it.
Not saying I’ll neglect the shorter boards, however for now just enjoying the trim and different turns you make.
Just my input
