it's an ugly fin and it spoils the very nice aesthetic of the board.

for chrissake get a nice hand foiled fibreglass fin to stick in it.

Go with a big single & use your rails. I have a big ass 9" alkali in my midlength which appears massive but works a treat

I was trying to get a sticky fin out of my sons board with the pointy end of an umbrella years ago. Slipped and stuck it right into the tail.

Surely the end of a fccckn teaspoon would have performed better then an umbrella in that situation.

The amount of surfing I'm doing at the moment I should sell all my boards rather than buy more, but a midlength in the 7'6"- 8'1" range is the quiver gap that niggles at me
