i see you're from Newcastle. There's a Newcastle Kneelo club. They might be able to help you get started.

How about you first come up with 3 ways stand-up is better than kneeboarding :)

i should clarify.

point taken in relation to why you want some feedback as to how kneeboarding is better than stand-up....doesn't necessarily mean i agree with your 3 actual points, or should that be 2. :)

1)

2)

3)
Here's a few of my reasons.

1) Low centre of gravity allows for more on edge surfing
2) The biggest range of moves, able to do every standup move (cutties, reos, hacks etc etc) while able to pull moves that require being low (barrel rolls, inverted reverses etc etc)
3) Being low and having so much of your body on your board you can project better through turns and put more power into them.
4) Better hold in hollow waves
5) More feel for the wave and your board
6) Get barreled in below 2ft surf
7) You can ride a kneelo on your feet anyway what do you need a standup for?

I'll list some more if you want
Btw it isn't as easy as it looks, it is harder than standing up! And having your knees go bad doesn't happen anymore with kneepads.
