Ghost 11
Here's the machine ready for rail shaping. The same shape as the Ghost 12 and Earl 10-6 but narrower and thinner than the Earl at 23" wide and an inch and 7/8ths thick, about 65 litres in volume weight around 18 pounds at present.

Well actually although the number attached to the board might seem huge to you neophytes the board is not huge in volume or mass, in fact it is quite dainty for a longboard.
Re: Ghost 11
What kind of fin set up are you planning to use, Roy?
She looks like a standard thruster shortboard gun. only larger.
Maybe Mavericks is in the cards?
I'm assuming, your price structure is still the same -- upwards of a quarter million? includes a legrope and a few bars of wax I would hope.

Re: Ghost 11
It's a pintail so you might have the nose and tail mixed up.
It has a spitfire single with leading edge tubercules.
The shape would be ideal for Mavericks however the volume on this one might be too low for sufficient paddle power at 65 litres, having said that the board will eat up late drops as it can turn and trim even in the steepest prts of the wave and has a pretty high lift bottom for quick aceleration so perhaps the buoyancy wouldn't be an issue.
Price is us$471,000

$471,000, where'd that number come from? I'd pay to see that board have a go at Mavericks. Tubercules and all..
You sure you don't want to put the fin(s) on the rounded end? Really, think about it roy, it's not too late to tweek it this one little bit..

1) No the round end is clearly the nose.
2)The number comes from the ancient mysteries of geometry.

Who else uses this technique of pricing? Please supply a name of someone, now or at any time in history, who uses this technique.

onya roy, you could be the steve jobs of surfboards; though I'd personally prefer one of speedneedle's or Priddy's ,
to what ancient mystery of geometry are you referring: pi times the radius of a cashed up sucker's bank account?

The answer is out there if one searches for it.
Re: Ghost 11
And Roy continues his career of evasion. He has a skill that a would be marketable to Wall Street bankers.
I assume Roy that you would be in strident support for the 1%'s, and dead against the 99%. Only one of those two groups could ever afford one of your creations. In fact, surely your approach would be anathema to any community-minded person, imagine if everyone used your method?
At least you're on the lunatic fringe creating a play-thing, rather than say the baker or butcher who the community actually relied upon.
