I'd give a bit for a few of those waves up here ATM.

Looks good, Roy.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Cheers blokes.

Steve you are seeing an increase in mass of approximately 150 Newtons since 2004 due to improved diet and workouts, it's all/mostly muscle and bone I assure you 8)

Actually I've gained 3/8" in height in the past few years as well :D

Your beard looks longer too Roy.
Yin yang , Newton's third law, what goes 'round, etc., somethings gotta give; getting shorter to make up for all this prodigious increase everywhere else roy.

Here's a comparison between the Ghost 13' and the Earl 10'6" which are the same design with different length and width ( Ghost 13 x 24 Earl 10'6" by 27"). The second vide was posted earlier on the thread but I just thought the comparison might be of interest.

roy, just how heavy is the ghost mate, it looked heavy and a bit harder to handle, but thats to my eye anyway........... I liked the way the earl went compared to the ghost.

The difference between the two is mainly due to the longer curves in the rail line on the Ghost 13, as well as the greater length, both of which give the 13 a more stately motion through turns. The weight difference ( 28 pounds for the Earl 35 pounds for the Ghost ) has less influence.

I don't think I'd be able to pick one over the other, the extra effort required for tighter arcs ( relatively tight lol ) on the Ghost is nice and positive IMO and is offset by the rail to rail ease the narrower Ghost has for longer arcs.

Having said that I'm having a ball on the Earl. For bigger and lumpier surf the Ghost would win although the Earl should handle size with a bit more effort required to control the very quick turning response .

Both boards have identical rocker.

nice roy but would have been so much better had you walked up to the nose and hung ten after your little bottom turn.

Cheers
Noseriding would have spoiled everything and if the board had been designed to noseride it wouldn't bottom turn correctly.

Hahahahaaha the video says " experience the fastest most powerful gator ever" while the footage is sped up. That's misleading advertising of slowboards, shameful stuff :?

As for the noseriding barf me out it is hideous as usual and as for beavertails they are so nostalgic I'm sure, such emotion ...
