I find Roys humour quite amusing , but I have noticed that it is more about him than the boards, please put the board in the foreground, I'm not interested what you look like just your board.

It's the best shot of the planshape I could find.
Re: Show us your guns!
Interesting pics, I note that some of the guns have rounder noses I guess this is for a wave that requires a big paddle to get into, but do they struggle once in the wave or on a steep drop?

Re: Show us your guns!
Hi fongs, the short answer is that they are a crucial aspect of the boards which I design to take themfongss wrote:
so my question is....if you would be so nice share a answer
how much does your design depend on your turbo fin
it seems crucial aspect of your design especially more in good waves...maybe
its all about the fins with me lately
Some of my designs have them, some don't.
I know that's not very helpful, sorry, but if you have more specific questions I'm happy to answer them.

Re: Show us your guns!
You are talking about aerodynamics. In that sense the wind speed experienced does not depend entirely upon wave size.Davros wrote:Interesting pics, I note that some of the guns have rounder noses I guess this is for a wave that requires a big paddle to get into, but do they struggle once in the wave or on a steep drop?
Round noses are less likely to stall than pointy noses, in general, provided that they are nice and thick. Thin noses whether pointy or round are a bane aerodynamically.

The nose does well if it resembles a bomb in shape.

You aren’t the room Yuke You are just a wonky cafe table with a missing rubber pad on the end of one leg.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Re: Show us your guns!
here's one i knocked up this arvo ... not a full blown gun - it's a 7'4 x 19 1/2 x 2 7/8. but basically comes from the outline of an 8'0, with the tail chopped and a big swallow put in. concept "borrowed" from the bolt guns tomo made a while back.
Re: Show us your guns!
Making a cover for this one, real sweet board, made for a guy that is about 65kg. 9'8"x20 1/8"x3 1/16.
Thought ya might want to look.
