Mr. Kook, nice looking lefts and great to hear the Dumpling went well in them... was it a little flat in the nose rocker on the hollower sections ? as you mentioned, it wasnt designed for those waves really but stoked to hear it is versatile for you, but sometimes I really enjoy pushing boards to their limits, especially the shorter ones in bigger waves than intended, its a little out of control but the liveliness gets you into some fun spots, but can also blow a few good ones.... 8)

Hi Cuttlefish (Pete); keen to find out if you are still riding the Wasp. If so how has it gone now it's been a while, if not what changes would you make in dims if you had another shot. Cheers mate , old grom!

Cuttlefish sold the Wasp a while ago, he never seems to hang onto any surfboard or craft for too long...the wasp was in the reasonably early stages of the design of the Dumpling which is now my biggest seller but has evolved quite a bit...you can see them on my site if interested mate...doing about 50% of them in E-CON....

Oi! I resemble that remark.
Still got the infamous gut sliding turtle.
Still having a blast on it.
Still mucking around with fins on it too.

how the Dumplings have evolved, but thats what should happen with any design I think, make adjustments and improvements as you go and you learn more about the intricacies of the shape and how it performs...here's a few recent ones for those who may be interested....

I reckon the flyers would work unreal on them MP ...

I think flyers, and two little twinzer/ nub type rear fins and two big fins up front would work a treat down here for me.

Of course after I get a big pintail for when it's juicy.

So many boards I want, so little money I have.

Would you mind throwing in a little more homoeroticism

That last one looks like a really tight, forward fin cluster, or is it a twinzer?. I like the outline of these new ones mark

yep, thats a Twinzer the bottom one....yep, I like the outline too, real good blend of small wave planing area and enough curves for plenty of performance surfing and tight enough turns...
