Yeah Tonks, they are amazing. I've become a bit of a 'Tomophile' this year - have a Nano and a Vanguard - but recently got a Vader, 5'6" x 18 5/8" 30.5l. For this old 82kg bloke it is a revelation, got the speed/acceleration of the Vanguard with the agility of the Nano.

Worth a demo if you can manage one.

Still got mine and ride it often.
Mine's Futures shod and it works with both quad or thruster fins.
It definitely allows you to draw some different lines on a wave and so is good to have to mix things up.
It has speed to burn from its bottom/planshape which can be reallly handy when you're surfing fast breaking semi-closeouts.
Well worth investing in.

I have a nano and a vader and they are the only boards right now.

Never saw that coming.

I never thought I'd own a pop-out (both are firewires).

Never really clicked with anything but hi-performance boards before. ( 18 1/4 widths, team light glassing)

but these boards just do it for me.

And I hate the way the look.(the nano looks cool but I feel like a kiteboarder with the vader)
