I've busted my knee pretty bad and will likely need either 4-6 weeks in a brace or surgery with even longer out of the water. Don't worry about saving the dim-SIM for my photos. Send it south if you can.

I'm probably still going down south near Jervis Bay in october sometime, so if someone wants me to drop it down there somewhere I'll be more than happy.

Am having heaps of fun on this thing. Scored some pumping beachies today, anything with a wall and the dimsim flies and carves. Compared to a fish it is just as fast down the line, but not as 'tight', goes great off the top - and backhand is no drama!

Gonna try and surf myself stupid tomorrow - then whos up?

Getting the board south aint a prob for me mark, I'm often surfing around the gong and beyond - I could take it down to bf or batoes next week and bring it back when they are done. The dings arent't too bad. Its mainly the glass flaking and chipping away on the real sharp edge of the rail.

The beerfan has the board.

Yup, got it!!, Thanks chris, good to meet a fellow realsurfer!.

For a travel board its in pretty good nick i think. When i got the fatbat travel board it was in worse condition!!.

Now, for some small hollow waves.....

I took the tape off the rail amd had a look. Glass seperated slightly from deck to bottom. I don't have any resin but I worked some solarez into the small cracks, and taped up with clear sticky tape. Probbably should get a layer of 4oz, but I dont have any and it would be a bit beyond me, glassing a whol we board is easier than doin rail dings!!. The cracks are small, and the foam is still solid, so I think it'll be ok. When set, i'll cover with 100mph tape.

Well, small swell and very high tide meant no waves today. Tomorrow im going pre dawn so should be right on low tide. Should be good conditions for the board. Here's some shots of it. Note the board its next to is 5'8'' hahaha

Beerfan - how far are you from Moruya? I would be interested in having a crack if it is still around these parts.
