haa fong i have vivid memory of a day that bill massoud gave platty and myself a ride up there
on what could only be discribed as a memorial day i close my eyes and i can still see k p carving that place on those little round bottom boards (father of the link)
i am sure if roy rode that board up there he would get one right down to the lagoon and would rant as much as you would on the wave behind
to ride the hull up there on a good day will have no beter experience EVA
cheers fellas huie

Re: The 19 foot 'Olo of the Sun'
Thanks for the kind thoughts, we'll see how we go if I sell one at the new price I'll definitely come for a visit, can't leave without the tribe though, and I'm not flying so that means cruise ship with a container of boards, ten kids, wife and a few nannies .. . . .
. .. but at least i won't be sculling your beer. . .
Noosa's tempting, an iconoclastic helmeted scumbag visitation perhaps ?

your boards aren't...imo...suited for noosa
but the point i speak off and huie fondly remembers
it would be insane fun, if , of course, i was up too the challange of riding it
it's not a board for everyone or everwhere....but indeed, is that not why u build them
maybe u could ship one over in parts, we could do a layby
u and tribe be welcome stay with us btw, gawd knows that be a mutual culture exchange

Thanks for the replies, and cheers MKM . .. regarding suitability for Noosa, the 12 foot Ghost will handle Noosa, and Burleigh as well, better than any mal
Here's the 13 inch fin taking shape ( roughly foiled ) only the fin above the cutaway facet will be in the water, the rest is just an oversized tab which will be trimmed later.
Tubercules will also be added tomorrow.

Everything I've said is true, however you have misquoted me so not everything which you claim that i've said is true.
I hope that helps.

Re: The 19 foot 'Olo of the Sun'
By the way the 19 footr olo of the sun is not designed for Chopes, I do however have a 12 footer which will do the job.

Also your idea that people buy a design because it works better is largely incorrect.
