If you enjoy riding it that is the most important thing.
Never mind what anyone else trys to tell you to ride.
Brian Weir who owns Weir's surfshop at Maroochydore is rarely out surfing anything else but his Hynson 5'11" epoxy twinzer.
Brian has all kinds of old boards from yesteryear hanging in his rafters.
Knows many of Oz's shaping legends and is a very good surfer and it's his daily ride.
He's on his second one so it suits him.
Enjoy your board.

Nice board.
This is my first reply so bare with me.
I've been thinking about getting a Hynson Black Night myself but a 5'11". I'm thinking epoxy because of the extra paddle power over fibreglass considering it's only 5'11" in length. Have you surfed a fibreglass quad fin similar to your Hynson to give me a comparison between epoxy and fibreglass(I generally surf fibreglass boards).
Nice board, enjoy it. I'm jealous

Its my first quad ,fish or regular ,so I cant tell you really...I am not a great supporter of epoxy boards but this one is different..more flex than the regular epoxy I had tryied before.
Yesterday I surfed it in 3ft glass rights and was just epic..It s so fucking fast..

Awesome - I have been trying to track down one of those for a while! I spoke with the distributor, and he said that he was no longer importing them!
Where did you get it from? Is there anywhere on the Gold Coast that stocks them - as I am heading up there this weekend!?

Don't name spots on the internet!!!

Re: My new Baby...alternative?????
I am going to Spain in July and hope to be shaping a few. I have a good mate over there , Chris Hunt who has shaped over there for ten plus years now.
I meant for 1500 dollars, I can make 3 custom PU / polyester boards instead of 1 overseas epoxy...

Yeas Chris Hunt shaped for Syndustri rite? I ve got two of his PU boards and they work really well,a little bit easy to break due to that UV cure they use, some people say..but mines work great.
I guess you will be traveling to the north, basq coutry or Cantabria.Really nice places.Good luck mate!
