it is sprayed aqua, so I guess we can call her the 'Aqua-Bat'. Looks like she will be finished in about 1 week from now so I will be in touch with the Sunny Coast crew to work out who and when . Fong seems pretty keen to get his hands on it and maybe take it to 1770, so he can have it after me ( shapers privelidge ), actually my 9 year old son can have the first wave. Saltman has said he wants to take it to Indo for a few weeks ,so its got to do all the Sunny Coast ( 5 or 6 test pilots ) and back down to the Goldy for Saltman to take her with him by the 11th of July ( better check that date )..If possible , lets keep the board for a week maximum ( or lss if you have had a few surfs already ) because there is a lot of people keen to have a go....pics of the 'Aqua-Bat' will be on my web-site as soon as its finished....cover and leashes kindly donated by www.leggies.com.au , not going all commercial, just a little plug to say thanks for the free stuff, cheers, MP

sure will, I am putting it all up on my site Ric. Kinda wish I was in Sydney to launch the project, would've been a great excuse for a party, maybe when its all over and I have put it all together. Hoping to get all the diary entries, pics and any dvd footage taken in its travels all together by the end and put something special together for all involved, could be a bit of work but i know there are some talented Real-surfers out there. Maybe we could raise a few dollars from it and between us all we could choose a charity or a worthy cause to donate the money ???? just thinkin out aloud ....

... not much time for any others unless it comes back to the Sunny before going south after Indo with Saltman....?????

What a shame it's not ready this week for Fong to take to 1770. Probably be some waves up there right now. :(
Fong, you can catch Bagara on the way back, too.

I give in. You're telling the story.

Board's looking good Mark. And as things stand I'll be available anytime from the 5th.

looks like it all starts this Monday arvo on the Sunshine Coast. Probably around 3-4pm and in the Maroochydore-Alex-Mooloolaba area, will post MORE definite time and place in the next few days...this is for any Sunny Coast crew that wanna catch up and check the board, bring your gear for a surf but if its no good we can catch up and check out each others boards and swap numbers for the next board exchanges....maybe a quiet ale too.....( only thing that can stop it is if my glasser is not finished it, I will call him for a hurry up now...) cheers,
MP

Looking like Alex lefts may be the spot for the launch of the MTM project, whatya reckon Mark? I'll be keen to pop down for a wave/sausage/beer or 2. Better not leave it too late in the arvo, 2-3pm?

Alex lefts ya reckon ??? 3 o'clock sounds good, I am keen for the surf and the beers but sometimes the bbq is a bit hard, if we can meet at 3 we can pass the board around a bit., lets meet at the bluff and decide where to surf then....a newspaper photog might be there too...

Did I see something about a longboard contest on at Alex this weekend? Not that it will affect us. I'll be there.
