spray painting fins flouro yellow, dumb idea?

spray painting fins flouro yellow, dumb idea?

gday all
i keep knocking out fins and losing them, so i spray painted some black speeed fins flouro yellow so i could find them later with a diving mask on.
is this a silly idea?
anyone found lost fins again?

Try tying them around your testicles. :D

you dont have much chance finding them unless u dive on them straight away, things move around heeps in the currents.

i found someones diving fin, free diving at south narrabeen, and it was lost at little narra.

when I was the airbrusher and sprayer at a factory I used to spray fins all different colours, just lightly sanded them, then 2 coats of enamel and then a coat of clear laquer ( or pro-finish), I guess it might help you finding them, I once did one yellow, one red and one green, bit of a rastafarian stage I was in.....Maybe just get your fins put in better and you wont have to go diving.....stick to muff diving , its much MORE fun....

should he spray paint the muff yellow so he can find it with a diving mask?

and flouro yellow is one of the best ever colours for a fishing lure! A mate had a kingie attack his flouro yellow leggie one time, naturally frightening the crap outta him...
