We did this with the "swinging bear" in the early 90's. The bear has been passed from tallship to tallship whilst at sea and traveled around the globe several times since the idea kicked off in Sydney Harbour.
This will rival the olympic torch....................................lol

Sounds like a good excuse for a barbie when it turns up in your town or suburb for us living in the more crowded places. Pass it around.

the amount of interest has blown me away and it keeps evolving all the time . I am going to include a travel diary so all surfers can leave comments ( hopefully not all swearing and crap but honest thoughts on the board and positives and negatives of the board for them ...and describe conditions and surf break...would be unreal to check it all out a it travels up or down the coast ), I think writing on the board sounds great but think it would get scratched off and be unable to be read after a short while ?????? I wish i could follow it around ( also getting free lifts and staying with other test pilots ) and film the whole project... few more days and I will get the board started...I need a clever name for the project ???? I want to have the word " MORE" in there, any ideas ?????

Not that your product should be associated with Demtel - or the like, but in the words of Tim Shaw
"But wait. There's MORE!"

I hope more like minded people receive the board. yellow single fin sounds good. The person receiving the board should not be wearing any surfwear labels (wetsuits exempt), & the person holding the board has 2 weeks to pass it on etc. This should be a not for profit concept so that the major labels can't hijack it. It's time to put the good times back into surfing purely for the fun of it.

Where I can, will supply pics of RS members riding it. Can travel, but will
need a bit of planning/begging with Mrs Butts
Possibly Byron to as far South as Ulla, but can't guarantee it as yet.
Suggestions:
MORE the experience!
Forever MORE!
Project MORE fun
I want MORE

You have to pass it on when you've had "more than enough"

I don't know Butts - you did OK.
It could be Project Oliver - like "Please sir, I want some MORE!"

Very good Bottoms... just stumbled on this...
My friend wanted a boat MORE than anything. His wife kept refusing, but he bought one anyway.
"I'll tell you what," he told her. "In the spirit of compromise, why don't you name the boat?" Being a good sport, she accepted.
When her husband went to the dock for the maiden voyage, this is the name he saw painted on the side: For Sale
