Crease across slick

Post by Brizzo » Wed Jul 09, 2008 8:12 pm

Is it possible to fix up a big crease across the bottom of the slick? It goes from rail to rail about halfway down the board and goes across the whole thing pretty much straight? I heard you can get rid of it if you iron over it with foil over it or something?

Yeah you can do that. Just make sure the iron is on really hot.

put it in the oven, preheated at 220c for 20 minutes - should get the crease out nicely

go for a surf in waves bigger than 4ft and when you bottom turn you will feel that your board is about to snap in half
