Fin Advice for narrow feet

Post by gingerninja » Mon Jun 23, 2008 3:24 pm

Hi all, my first post!,

I am looking for some fins for my super narrow feet. Anyone else had experience with this? I have heard Vipers and Tech2's may be a good move. I take around size 10 shoe but my feet are more like and 8 in width, what makes them weirder is they are uber-pointy in that the distance between the big and little toe is like a whole size down (if that makes any sense!)

All advice welcome!

Welcome ninja!

I had the same problem years ago when I was a bodyboarder (pretty much only churchills and Voight duck feet back then). Used sports socks to try and fill up some of the space and avoid the blisters, but then neoprene fin socks appeared and seemed to work fine - I assume they're still around?
Bought a pair of Manta fins which seemed to be a lot softer so that helped too (probably sacrificed some power for more comfort). But hey, that was years ago - sure there's something similar available now though.
