I’ve kept just about everything
6’10” Nipper Williams Single Fin
6’10” Bennett McTavish Single Fin
6’10” McCoy Single Fin
6’5” Mark Richards Twin Fin
6’10” Doug Bell single fin flyer
6’6” Hot Buttered Single Fin Double flyer
7’2” Gordon and Smith Single Fin
8’6” Twin Fin Egg
6’8” Energy Thruster
6’6” Simon Andersen Quad
6’2” Quad Fish
7’6” Super Fish
10’2” Takayama Model T
11’2” Sean Wilde single fin log
8’6” Pure Single Fin Gun
9’6” Modern Mal
Most of ‘em I still ride but I’m not willing to risk the Hot Buttered or the Richards in the crowds anymore but I take ‘em on holidays! As you can see I too have a fibreglass fetish!

Most of ‘em are falling apart! They need a lot of TLC but I just can’t part with them.
The Richards and the Hot Buttered are in excellent condition.
The 7’2” G&S has been half way round the world. Bali in ’77 and Europe in ’78 and every time I see it great memories come flooding back!
I try and ride most of ‘em but these days it’s usually the quad fish or the modern mal.
The Wild is a great board for x country cruising but it’s a little too big for Sydney beach breaks, great on long points though.
I don't drink or smoke! Gotta spend my money on something!!!!

6'4 Simon Anderson. Got this after I snapped my 6'3 Chili last year (that was a magic board I miss it so much.....still can't bear to throw the pieces out..). Dunno about the Simon I keep falling off....maybe I'm just gettin old.
6'6 MR twin. For 2ft and under. A work of art.
7' DHD gun. Used to only use for big stuff, increasingly riding in 3 foot and up and lovin' it.
Advice: don't ever get rid of a board you will regret it. My 6'2 Gordon and Smith single fin hopefully still lives somewhere in Sri Lanka.

Well surfboards are very cheap in comparison to bicycles. I race them and have a number and they are like $4000 a pop on average. My surfboard quiver is a lot cheaper. Not even worth one good bike.Surfa 69 wrote:Oh and another thing, some of you guys have serious serious surfboard problems, I'm not joking I suggest many of you seek help, your wife's must hate you... I'm starting to catch the disease so I completely understand, I just want so many boards, everytime I see a new board or even just read about the shape of one I want it. Only if the money permitted ah....
6'5" Stretch Quad (eyeing off the 6'1")

Okay 8, this is where it all falls down
I mean, man, look at your lawn that is truely pathetic.
Wait until RV sees this
You could have at least swept up the leaves in the corner, before taking the pic
Mind you not a bad looking '70s towel draped there
Only taking the piss.
I actually quite like the look of it. Not so sure you would classify it as a "fish" though
Bit of a depression on the bottom near the nose right hand rail.
If you enjoy the board, then thats all that counts.
Can't say I've ridden a TC before
Anybody got any opinions on TC's

Nasty
5'6" classic skeg fin twinnie
5'10" 6 channel swallow tail fish
5'11" groove channel swallow tail
6'2" double concave rounded square tail

Sadly, Glen has hung up the power planer and won't be making any boards in the forseeable future.
Still has his shaping and glassing bay though so all is not lost!
