I'm no lidder but will admit to mounting one when i was a young whipper snapper, BUT i was at that mambo sydney surf film shit what ever it was a few weeks ago in bondi and some pricks on lids were busting out on bullshit shorey right on tha rocks, they would've got F@$kin nailed, some are very loose boy's. and the other day i saw lids goin left at Macca's on the close outs and gettin pumped on the rocks........if that's how they earn respect they've got mine

shortboard doesn't need a moderator because it mostly is people who surf talking about surfing and surfboards and the fools don't bother.

I admit to steering a discussion towards riding doors and gates but I maintain it is a legitimate form of surfing and I saw a guy this morning paddle out on a vintage style Hawaiin plank, flat, wide, round nose, no fin so it happens
