Sizes for little kids?

I'm in uncharted waters here.
Both the kids are ready to move from their foamies, and they both have no trouble on my smallest board which is a fat little 6.0 fish. They're at the stage where turns are starting to happen.
So I'm on the lookout for suitable second hand boards.
Son, aged 7, 134 cm, 28 kg.
Daughter, aged 9, 140cm, 33 kg.

Size Thoughts?

They seem like healthy sized kids for their ages.

Sorry, no ideas about boards. HUIE makes a few grom boards, maybe send him a PM.

Good nick second handers.
5.6 and 5.7 by 17.5. 2 1/4 thick. Planshape a little fishy. Nothing fancy.
Plenty of float, but small enough to learn the ropes over the next year or two.
Em Tasol.

Went through this dilema last year - it really depends on their ability as much as size. I got 2 boards that were for made for kids a fair bit older (but more skilled) thinking it would be fine, but the unstability of such a narrow board has seen it be a difficult transition! Width is their friend.
