Watching it now.

Have to say I didn't get into it as much as you, but the last 1/3rd was pretty good.
Once I'd learnt how to do those flip things I'd never do another spin, though.

See I liked his surfing at that first location with the cliffs but didn't like the change between multiple camera angles. Middle bit I can respect as really hard, but just long small barrels that made me think mainly about Snapper crowds. The last bit I really dug, it was high performance surfing in crappy waves.
I also like that his first instinct isn't to go for a big move if it ruins his ride, he throws them on the closeout section.
