Weird ridge across head after surfing accident.

Post by kreepykrawly » Mon Apr 30, 2012 2:36 pm

About 3 months ago I was surfing out car park NN and I headbutted the sand bank. I got the burn down the side of my neck that lasted about 15 minutes but left me with some pain for a few months after.

I don’t mind all that sh-t …but when I gave myself a skin dog hairy last week I noticed this weird ‘ridge’ going horizontally across my head from ear to ear. It looks more prominent when I get angry and I’ve noticed it in a few photos lately.

I would like to know from any skull experts out there if they think I need to have it looked at.

I don’t want idiots telling me I’ve got brain damage or I need to get a new skull patch replacement.

What I would like to know if the ‘ridge’ is normal…… and if not what can be done about it.

P>S I tried to push it down but it wont move.

Maybe a longer fringe could cover it up. And if it starts making noises just turn the stereo up. Seriously, like above, go see a doctor. The initial description about a burning feeling down the side of the neck does not sound good, how this ridge is connected to that I don't know but with months of pain and not seeing anyone about it, I'm not sure you haven't already been taking advice from an idiot. I get bad advice from that same idiot at times too.

I agree with most of the others who avoided the strong temptation to make a wisecrack
(and let's face it, given KK's posting history on this board wisecracks were awfully tempting ..... but we would miss him if he goes).

KK: It doesn't sound normal - go see a doctor .....NOW :!:

Sorry kackers, that wasn't me.

A lot of people have prominent ridges, I wouldn't be too concerned but yes, have it checked.

honestly KK after all the things you have struck with your head over the years, you're worried about the Narrabeen sandbar

Most people have bumps and ridges and fissures and shit in their skulls which are only revealed once one's head is shaved clean.

Sometimes they are more obvious after you've lost weight or happen to be slightly dehydrated.

If the sandbar head crack was sufficiently violent to cause a significant alteration to the shape of your skull, you'd have known it at the time and it wouldn't have involved a short term muscle soreness in the neck, oh no, you'd have been dragged out of the shorie by Jamie Twight, unconscious and possibly dead.

get an Xray if you don't mind the radiation risk and Ms KK is worried, otherwise, hell, come surf the Pool again, that'll make the entire top of your head pop clean off

I made some runt feel my skull at training and he felt nuffin but normality. Apparently I’m normal. The low points are normal. Most peoples skulls look like golf balls when shaven. No more skin dog hairy’s.

actually KK I have an idea.

You could get a plaster cast made of your skull!! and send it to various museums around the world for analysis.
