Read the review (June 19 or is there a more recent one?). Aside from the warp speed off-the-mark, it sounds just like everything Iād hate in a board - obligated short arc surfing, tricky steering control in turns.

I think you'd hate it Iggs, for sure.
The fins above give it a lot more control in longer arc surfing.....but that ain't what you do on it.
I hated it, now I love it.
Maybe I'll go back to hating it.
Its quite an invigorating feeling being able to put that board wherever I want to at top speed......I thought that kind of surfing was behind me. Turns out, it's not.

I can see the appeal. But I like boards to feel like steady scalpels, not erratic missiles.

You'd love the new Maurice Cole 6'3" pintail I've got Iggs......it's a fcuking Porsche on the autobahn. Insanely sure footed handling.
I think you could go up a little easily Salts and still get the gist of it. There is a learning curve though I reckon and you have to be willing to push through.

Black Diamond is too bulbous as a tri fin. Will try as a quad.
Even a kook like me realises this is no performance board. My 7ft 2+1 has better performance.

What does bulbous mean in regards to a surfboard?

Or a
, which is both sure-footed yet can still do reasonably tight turns, on its own terms.
Mine is gone.
my mate came and took it and now I can't get it back

Too much foam in the wrong places. It's like riding a ballon. No bite.

If it doesn't work well as a quad, sell it while it still looks good.
Just had a look.
Looks like a hypto crypto?
