The 6'0 single feels glorious. Just bagged a handful of beautifully shaped righthand head high peaks out at the stormy and dunnybowl.

A series of highline trims, and cutting back into the bowl, over and over. It felt like silk.

this morning I surfed my old brothers neilsen 5'10 single on some sweet A-frames that ran into long inside walls.

Nice shape .

Took the 6'0 out today, but put the 9'0 volan fin in as it was a pretty solid 4-5 foot. The board felt great. Plenty of hold but still really easy to turn.

yeah the outline is beautiful. It really goes when you compress in the bottom turn more than normal.
I wanna copy it and shape some harder tucked rails.

here is one I made earlier, enjoyed riding it for a few months from the start of the year, and still pull it out if there is any juice in the waves. I cant remember the full dims 6"6"x 201/2" x 21/2" issh. I scored a really nice Alkali fin for Xmas from my old chap as well, which probably helps. The plan shape is based on a Mctavish Tracker, but it has really low tucked rails modelled off a sweeet Al Byrne I have.

help me out here brothers.
(i put these shots up in the modern sickness thread but dleted them from Pb after and they disappeared from that post so, up they go again here)

seeing the The rancho's fine stick with somewhat similar outline i'm hoping to restore this baby with a new spray job...
my concern is that i can't figure out if this sweet little 80's rocket - it's got 6'2 written only and i measured it as about 19 3/4 and maybe 2 7/8 ...thereabouts anyway. I can't tell if it was made with the side fins and had a box installed...or had the box and the side fins layed in later.
It was a bit banged up and I've fixed the dings and the residue around the fixed fins is evidence of that.

i've only taken it out as is and in knee to waist high. it skates a bit, but it's fast and responsive on the rail.

should i rip the fins out and put a sexy single into it?...I've got an 8" mal fin i could mount to try a three fin set up but i'm tempted to run it as a single.

??

Keep the side fins (so you can also generate your "own" speed) and throw in either a 6'5 or 7'5 centre fin.

Yeah I'll give that a go.

So you think this was meant to be a thruster?

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.
