Just picked one up yesterday... it's a birthday present.

Can't ride it till November.... when the flat spell will no doubt arrive.

Pfft. In hand means in water. What are you waiting for, it to cure?

Nope... I just got it for a price I could not refuse. :D

It's a 6'0... I really would have much preferred the 5'10 ( I'm riding a 5'9" rail "pod" style quad ATM ). I'll chuck a small cluster set in it and see how it goes... the fins in it are waaaaaaay too big for me.

If it's feels too long I won't be hanging on to it.

very well Steve, and thankyou for asking.

I am now back to two cups of semi-caffienated espresso a day, and enjoying a small glass of Coonawarra Cabernet Savignon two or three nights a week. I'm not quite ready to dive into the José Cuervo just yet, but I figure with a few weddings and 40th birthday celebrations between now and Xmas, I can slowly ramp things up and be ready to try some binge drinking again on New Year's eve.

Salt and Lemons on standby.

Might be selling it, unridden.

No contract extension so I'm out on me arse in 2 weeks... and the market is deader than brown levis californians and desert boots.

1 week to go! I have about 6 weeks to go, been out of the water since June - I wore some bits out and had them resurfaced with some nice stainless steel. What has kept you out of the water?

about 30,000 dollars owed to the ATO. But I feel your pain... I was out for two 7 week stints in 2009 with a busted ankle that wouldn't glue itself back together.

To try and make a long story short... I knew of the board... saw it ridden < 10 times... mate said it was too small and wanted to shift it.. and the price he offered was less than half the rack price with not a mark on it.

It was actually kinda an early birthday present, but with an uncertain ongoing contract situation I decided I'd better mothball it in case I needed to flog it fast to pay the mortgage. In any case I said I'd grab it and work out the details later. :D

OK... i got another contract... so I get to keep the board, and ride it. The irony is... I'll be stuck in an office 9 - 5 again so will be stuck with pre-and post work sessions, and weekenders when the planets align. I will get my new compsand 5"11 thruster in the water before that ( this week ) so it'll be a double treat to ride two new boards over two weeks. Provided there's some follow up swell next week.

Ride report pending...

Initial report... in junky cross-shore 1' surf.

Absolutely amazing. No sh1t... if that's what this thing goes like in that dross... it could be my fave board of all time.

Hoping to get a few more( bigger ) waves under it over the next few days. Will report back after that.
