He might overdo the styling a bit but Al Knost can surf.

He seems to surf almost entirely with his lower body ie when doing a turn instead of there being a twist through the upper body or leading with the arm or even head, they are almost fixed and his feet and hips just wiggle around and there is a turn.

I enjoy longboards but yeah, I agree, lots of overly staged movements for the sake of it. It's as if they're not going out for a surf, but out for a pose.

Surfed the mini merk last couple days, far out its awesome. new favourite board! Funny feeling bonzers, almost feels like your hovering or kinda finless but you're not, they have a heap of hold and drive.
