I don't want a surfboard worth that much, especially one that isn't suited to the normal surf I have access to.

Perhaps sticking to more conventional thrusters might have "improved" my surfing or might be better suited to the beachies I normally surf but I dont care. I am really enjoying th trip of different designs.

Probably not Loof. These boards have more volume so it's almost certain you'll surf better on them.

Volume is my friend. Surfing is so much better when you figure out that you shouldnt be on an undersized twizzle stick.

Shaped for Alex Knost by Malcolm, not doubt Mike Psillakis shaped that board.

Yeh tempted but would need to trade. There is the PB Nomad that's worth a look for a Bonzer.

Reckon Davros has read the description:
This was the most popular Bonzer shape during the mid to late 70′s. Russ Short, Duncan, Cliff Collinge and Malcom all rode slight variations of this template during the time. This model was pushed to the limit in all types of waves and proved to be a very versatile high performance surfboard. The Russ Short model is used mostly with the 3 fin set up, but can incorporate the 5 fin system as well. The Russ Short model works well as a diamond, round or swallow tail. This is the model Malcom has been shaping for Al Knost over the last year or so.

It doesn't look like a Russ Short to me at all - mine has a huge beak nose - volume is all forward. I reckon Tootr is right - Mini Merk or Contemporary and they've just labelled it wrong.

Yeh, as Batoes said read it and it's not a Russ Short and all the boards from Wild Things are shaped by Mike P and glassed by Rhino, they are all in the same complex at Manly Vale. But yeah of course there might be a few left overs from MC but if they can't even match the description I wonder if it was shaped by MC saying that a Mike P would be just as good.

Just rang wildthings - those bonzer were shaped by Malcolm last year and have been on the racks ever since. Did Juan confirm any dates in July? I've got a few ideas for another bonzer - but i reckon i'll have to clear a few boards off the rack. Other than my Octafish, which i'm not 100% on, i have no idea what else i'd get rid of???
